Bipolar Flat Stimulator Bridges

The bipolar flat stimulators they are used to carry out evoked potentials, tests that study the responses of the Central nervous system to a sensory stimulus, analyzing the nerve pathways that carry information from the periphery to the brain. In particular, i Motor Evoked Potentials (PEM) or the functioning of the pathway that conducts the stimulus that arises in the motor cerebral cortex and that through the spinal cord reaches the motor neurons and therefore the muscles.

The stimulator electrodes are placed on the point to be stimulated by exerting a slight pressure and fixed with a velcro band or held in place by the operator with the special knob. BIONEN stimulators are supplied both with steel electrodes and with felts.
